He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Stead and Bernice Stead; and his siblings, Charlotte, Jill, Sandra and Alfred.
He is survived by: his wife Myra; his children, Lance Stead (Elizabeth) of Cottage Grove, MN, Randall Stead (Suzanne) of Roxie, MS and Robin Linnell (Jeffrey) of Hoyt Lakes; his grandchildren, Aaron (Georgia), Autumn (Josh), Hannah (Kyle), Caitlin, Caleb, Briar and Mason; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Karley, Asher, Emma, Avianna, Elliette, Livie and Peyton; and his sister Patricia Adams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
