With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Bjerke of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, born in Aurora, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Don Truman; and his grandparents, John Bjerke, Harry Clark, Millie and Charlie Lantz.

He is survived by: his parents, Sue Lantz (Davis) and Craig Bjerke; his grandparents, Norma, Gene Davis and Glorene Clark; his children, Jordan Bjerke, Lexi Swanson (Ted) and Mikayla Bjerke; his stepchildren, Kelly LaValley and Dylan LaValley (Jaclyn); his sister Brooke Beyer (Sol); his stepbrothers, Kevin Lantz (Cheryl) and Kyle Lantz (Anita); his grandchildren, Kirsikka Bjerke, Gabby, Kaizen Swanson and Henry LaValley; his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Emily Beyer, Tanner Beyer, Taylor and Cameron Lantz; and the mother of his children Christina Sturgis. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
