It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Ruth Von Holdt of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Hedrich and Emma Hedrich (Zahn); and also Alvin. She is survived by: her husband Alvin; her children, Bruce Von Holdt (Lori) of Bemidji, MN and Lori Karppinen (Scott) of Hoyt Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Eric Von Holdt of Alexandria, MN, Nickolas Von Holdt (Bryna) of Bemidji, MN, Jessica Schilling (Lance) of Bemidji, MN, Andrew Karppinen (Kayleigh) of Duluth, MN and Ethan Karppinen of Park Rapids, MN; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Eliana, Claire Von Holdt, Molly, Reid, Marlea Von Holdt, Evelyn Schilling and Faye Karppinen; and her sister Marcella Olson of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
