She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Splettstoeszer and Mabel Splettstoeszer (Dalbec); her husband Walter; her son Wayne Mahlstedt; and her siblings, Norman Splettstoeszer, Stan Splettstoeszer, Donna Schmaedeka and Eleanor Krueger.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Mikkelson (Lowell), Larry Mahlstedt (Vivian), Sandy Mahlstedt and Kevin Mahlstedt; her grandchildren, Kimberly Sipprell, Shannon Cox (Mike), Kristy Cardinal (John), Evan Mahlstedt (Kristin), Brianne Nowak (Matt), Brent Mahlstedt (Amanda) and Melissa Mahlstedt; her great grandchildren, Alex Sipprell, Cameron Sipprell, Danica Cox, Ryan Cardinal, Lauren Cardinal, Lennie Nowak, Hailey Hoskins and Devin Hoskins; and her sister Beverly Lange.
