He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Helinske and Hattie Helinske (Wackler); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Corinne Zimmerman; his siblings, Sandra Rasmussen, Norman Helinske (Marion) and Donald Helinske (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Zimmerman, John Custer, Ted Urban, Rachel Custer and Laura Mae Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Zimmerman; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Rasmussen of Howard Lake, Yvonne Urban of Silver Lake, Marlene Zimmerman of Winsted, Gordon Zimmerman (Gloria) of Owatonna, Loren Zimmerman (Charlotte) of Howard Lake and Clifford Zimmerman (Linda) of Howard Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
