He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hall (Evie) of Grand Meadow, Minnesota.; and his daughters, Dr. Ruth Dixon (Paul) of Appleton and Rebecca Christensen (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials to be directed to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Valley View Healthcare and Rehab, or the Sherman and Evie Cole Scholarship in care of Houston Public Schools.
