He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Onsgard and Winnie Onsgard (Chapel); his siblings, Carlton and Dorothy McCormack; and his nephew Owen Onsgard.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice; and his children, Eileen Hegland (Duane) of Houston, Barb Swenson (Ken) of Houston and Mark Onsgard of Racine, MN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
