She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGaffey and Helen McGaffey (Olson); her husband Jerome Sand; and her sisters, Ona Belle Hammond and Doris Loken (Stub).
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelly Storsveen (Leighton), Jeri Virock and Connie Edwards (Garry); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Hammond and Darlene Fahrenholtz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Stone Church.
