With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard Kohnen (Houston, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Kohnen and Marie Kohnen; his wife Caryn Hahn; his son Robert Kohnen; his parents-in-law, Wallace (Wally) and Carol Hahn; his brothers-in-law, David Schmitz, Duane Hahn and Scott Hahn; and his grandparents, William, Alma Kruger and Rose Kohnen.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy (Marc) of LaCrescent, MN, Dan (Jessica) of Spring Grove, MN and Jessup (Lisa) of Rushford, MN.; his grandchildren, Chelsey, Riley and Elin; his siblings, Betty Schmitz of Caledonia, MN. and Elmer Kohnen (Linda) of Caledonia, MN.; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Erickson (Allen) of Lanesboro, MN, Marshall Hahn of Spring Grove, MN, Michael Hahn (Anita) of Mabel, MN, Linda Hazelton (David) of Winona, MN, Greg Hahn (Jill) of Freeburg, MN, Gordon Hahn (Dolly Pertzch) of Caledonia, MN, Rhonda Betz (David) of Spring Grove, MN and Darrel Hahn (Jeannie) of Spring Grove, MN.
