He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fitting and Myrtle Fitting (Corey); his brothers, Ralph and Rolland; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian and Joye Fitting.
He is survived by: his brother Money Creek Campground; his wife Janice Knutson; his children, Gary Fitting, Karen Cripps (Cody), Wayne Fitting (Carla) and Dean Fitting (Melissa); his grandchildren, Nicole Knutson (Knute), Derick Cripps (Karen), Brooke Raeker (Dan), Mackenzie Fitting (Steve Phonethep), Troy Fitting (Allary) and Casey Fitting (Graham Snyder); and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Aspyn, Henry, George and Kenna.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials directed to the donor's choice.
