He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Ortman; and his siblings, Lorraine Kemp and Betty Ortman. He is survived by: his children, Deb Stegner (John), Jeff Ortman (Karen) and Pam Kane (Dennis); his grandchildren, Nicole, Andy Stegner (Tryna), Katie, Bryce Ortman, Christopher (Nicole) and Sarah Kane; his great grandchildren, Emma Stegner of James Kane and Sophia Stegner of James Kane; and his siblings, William Ortman and Nancy Erler. He is also survived by other relatives & friends.
