She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred and Olga; her husband Ray Swanson; her sister Myra; and her brothers-in-law, Oren, Roy and Ron.

She is survived by: her children, Carrie, John Swanson (Renee), Nancy Kemnitz (Randy), Carol Widstrand (Steve), Kris Swanson and Janet Brossett (Gary); and her siblings, Leo (Betty) and Janyce. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
