He is survived by: his mother Eileen Quigley (Hillestad); his siblings, Sondra Hillestad, Nickie Schafer and Josh Quigley; his pet Freedom; and his nieces and nephews, Isabelle, Aurora Hillestad, Reyana, Lilly Schafer and Bodie Quigley.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lebanon Cemetery of Apple Valley Pilot Kno (5450 150th St W, Apple Valley, MN 55124).
