He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shidla and Angela Shidla (Jan Alan); and his brother-in-law Dennis Durak. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Shidla (Jeanette), Angela Thorpe (Henry), Diane Jorgensen (Pete), Pamela Durak, Judith Schlick (Paul), Robert Shidla (Cindy) and Kathleen Shidla (David Perrin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
