It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aldythe B Schmidt (Hopkins, Minnesota), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bren and Bessie Bren; her husband Tony Schmidt (Tony); and her sister Deloris Rell. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Ferguson (Patrick) of New Hope, MN, Steven Schmidt of Hopkins, MN, Sharon Westerberg (Larry) of Hopkins, MN, Joyce Schmidt (Scott Ramacier) of Mound, MN and Kris Pursley (Mike) of Buffalo, MN.; her grandchildren, Jason Simon of Kailua-Kona, Kaitlyn Forster (Scott) of Medina, MN, Allison Peterson (Matt) of New Hope, MN and Cassie Swinkjakow of Hopkins, MN.; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Riley, Archer Peterson, Luke and Joanna Forster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Washburn McReavy Funeral Chapel (1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
