He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mesenbrink and Marlys Mesenbrink (Vollmer); his wife Janet Olen; and his siblings, Bill Mesenbrink and Beverly Barta.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Sherod (Jayson) of Ottertail, Heather Panitzke (Jon) of Waynesville, NC, Nicole Merdan of St. Joseph and Matthew Mesenbrink (Kristi) of Watkins; his grandchildren, Jacob Mesenbrink, Joshua Sherod, Jed Sherod, Logan Merdan, McKenzie Merdan, Gavin Mesenbrink, Teyton Mesenbrink and Ryker Mesenbrink; his great grandchildren, Jase and Evelyn Mesenbrink; his brother David Mesenbrink (Lynn); and his siblings-in-law, Patty Mesenbrink of Brooklyn Center, Jean Bergen (Lee) of Waukee, IA and Jon Olen (Michelle) of North Branch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Morris FFA.
