He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Olson (Berven); his former wife Diane Zempel; his wife Judy Suckow; his children, Amanda Behr (Eric) of Fargo, ND, Amy Ochsendorf (Justin) of Montevideo, MN, Alyssa Kalvestran (Dan), Adrian Golden (Justin) of Appleton, MN and Jacob Suckow (Samantha) of Lake City, MN; his grandchildren, Morgan, Brady, Luke Behr, Brooklyn, Kade, Kendall, Kason Ochsendorf, Savannah Klein, Rhett, Ryzen, Anzley Suckow, Oliver Kalvestran and Ellison Golden; his siblings, Jan Beyerl (Ken) and Gary Olson (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Dave Hillerud (Charlene). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
