She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lezer and Kathryn Lezer (Nohner-Schmit); her significant other Peter "Pete" Gaida; her daughter Joyce Ebnet; and her siblings, Daniel Schmit, Dennis Schmit, William Schmit and Marlene Chirhart.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Gaida and Dave Gaida (Lois); her son-in-law Neil Ebnet; and her siblings, Gloria Lenzen (Don) and Jerry Schmit (Carol). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grand-children.
