He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Powell and Helen Powell (Boehm); his brothers, Richard, Claude and James Powell; his brother-in-law Dwayne Becker; his daughters, Amy Kaufenberg (Powell) and Sarah Mathews (Powell); and his granddaughter Emily Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Powell (Julie) of Hokah, MN and Mary Hennessey (Don) of Houston, MN; his siblings, MaryAnn Becker and Daniel Powell (Karen); his grandchildren, Jamie Wolf of Roseville, MN, Mandi, Megan Boyd (Bradley) of La Crescent, MN, Katelyn Davy of La Crosse, WI, Becky Cagle (Kevin) of La Crescent, MN and Sean Weaver (Erica) of La Crosse, WI; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Ballweber of Roseville, MN; his nieces, Julie Powell Johnson, Nikki Malone (Jeff), Diane Bulman (Gregg) and Jackie Powell (Andy Ahl); and his nephew Jim Powell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hokah Fire Station (9 Mill St, Hokah, MN 55941).
