It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Lee Palmquist (Hokah, Minnesota), who passed away on February 16, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandfather Fred Hartman; her son David (Deborah) of Mississippi; her granddaughter Tara (James) of Florida; her sister-in-law Lorraine Orr of Winona, MN; her stepchildren, Clare of Watertown, MN, Diane of Oregon City, Oregon and Janet (Paul Ask) of Port Huron, MI; her parents, Carl Hartman and Hazel Hartman (Schild); her husbands, Howard Lee and Maynard Palmquist; her granddaughter Heather Joy Lee; and her siblings, Ardelle (Paul Miller) of Randolph, Eloise (Ralph Lee) of Houston, MN, Betty (Russell Rossi) of Winona, MN and Lyle (Nancy Hartman) of Delaware. She was also cherished by 13 nieces and nephews; and by four step-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials directed to the Hokah United Methodist Church or the Historical Society of Houston County in Caledonia, MN.
