He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his parents, Arnt and Agnes; his parents-in-law, John and Velma; his brothers, Bob and David; his sister-in-law Andrea; his nephews, Jeff and Aaron; and his granddaughter Kari.
He is survived by: his children, David Sandven (Lynda) of Stanchfield, Dale Sandven (Donna) of Cambridge, Dean Sandven of Rush City, Sue Lorenz of Hokah, Sherri Sager of Hokah and Drew Sandven (Kim) of Hokah; his grandchildren, Kaline (Tony), Emily (Joe), Kyle (Amy), Evan, Tarah, Cory, Joshua, Tyler, Meagan, Cole and Thor; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Houston, Tessa, Conor, Owen, Liam, Finley and Hudson.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 4 until 7 P.M. on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services La Crescent Chapel; 111 South Oak St. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Alden's memory.
