He was predeceased by: his parents, Mirriam Gabrielson and Amy Gabrielson; his wife Delores Ann Sandberg; his daughter Julie Pederson; his brothers, Maurice Gabrielson and Donald Gabrielson; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Thompson, Virgil Sandberg, Gordon Carlson, Richard Langager, Charmain Carlson and Sharon Langager.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Gabrielson (Karen), Janelle Wellnitz (William), Larry Gabrielson (Kristin) and Jeanette Weber (Daniel); his son-in-law Randy Pederson; his grandchildren, Ryan Pederson (Amy), LeeAnn Boehne (Scott), Jason Pederson (Ashley), Davis Gabrielson (Nellie), Mitch Gabrielson (Karen), Lonnie Gabrielson (Lisa), Christopher Wellnitz, Stephanie Wellnitz (Phil), James Gabrielson, Paige Gabrielson, Brenden Weber (Jennifer) and Deonna Patch (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Noah, Madysen, Carter, Allison, Trent, Tyson, Yvonne, Owen, Malachi, Aria, Myla, Connor, Cade, Bennett, Brooks, Haven, Onyx, Iwan and Jens; his great great grandchildren, Jakobie, James, Everett, Jaxson, Hutton and Sylvia; his siblings, David Gabrielson (Janet) and Judith Thompson; and his sister-in-law Pearl Gabrielson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home & Cremation Service- Hoffman (103 7th St S, Hoffman, MN 56339). A prayer was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (502 Kentucky Ave, Hoffman, MN 56339).
