He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gubrud; his children, Reed Schoephoerster (Roni), Marsha Vistad (Stanley) of Grand Forks, ND, Kurt Schoephoerster (Diane) of Dawson, MN and Eric Schoephoerster of Grand Forks, ND; his sister Ruth Ann Sundin (Duane) of St. Peter; and his grandchildren, Bethany Addink (Nate), Anna Meland (Ben), Holly Leafblad (Korey), Elizabeth Vistad (Jesse), Andrew Vistad (Megan), Aaron Schoephoerster, Leah Prestholdt (Darin) and Heidi Prestholdt (Dane). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
