He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nelson and Ella Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Hansen); his daughters, Linda Burbidge (Allen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Debra Schmidt (Stu) of Barrett, MN, Connie Chase (Craig) of Ames, IA and Tammy Meyer (Mark) of Fairmount, ND; and his siblings, Ethel Forbes, Harlan Nelson, Richard Nelson and Gary Nelson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
