He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nord and Laura Nord (Wagner); his son Jeff Nord; and his brother-in-law Bill Unker. He is survived by: his wife DiAnn Rassat of Hoffman; his children, Vicki Johnson of Hoffman, Penni Parshall (Steve) of Lowry and Tim Nord of New Hope, MN; his grandchildren, Jesse Roth, Shanda Roth, Tracy Johnson (Kayla) and Cody Johnson; and his sister Bette Unker of Milbank, SD..
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Knute Nelson Hospice of Alexandria.
