He is survived by: his sons, Randy Melbye (Cimberly) of Dent, MN and Rick Melbye (Cheryl) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Jenna Handloff (Nick) of Steamboat Springs, CO, Trent Melbye (Tricia) of Moorhead, MN, Tyler Melbye of Vergas, MN, Matthew Melbye (Sheena) of Fargo, ND and Allison Clark (Brian) of Fargo, ND; and his great grandchildren, Reznor, Dhara, Eli, Isaac, Axel, Harvey, Grace, Marcus, Leon, Kira, Emmelia, Joseph and Caleb.
