He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal Busby and Doloris Busby (Hogenson); his sister Paula Wilson; his brothers-in-law, Jerain "Jiggs" Anderson, Mike Rydjord, Raj Karim and Linn Sakrismo; and his niece Carrie Krumwiede.
He is survived by: his wife Lori of Hitterdal; his children, Melissa Johnson (Tom) of Rochester, MN, Krista Siddiqui (Junaid) of Eagan, MN, Branda Anderson (Justin) of Rochester, Paige Busby of St. Paul, MN, Brett Busby (Casey) of Sabin, MN and Patrick Busby of Thompson, ND; his siblings, Sharon Willgohs (Gene) of Henning, MN, Pat Anderson of West Fargo, ND, Linda Rydjord of Vacaville, CA, Mary Karim of Duluth, MN, Gail Spillum (Tom) of Rollag, MN, Jeri Sakrismo, Maureen Van Den (David) and David Busby of Fargo, ND; and his brother-in-law Breck Wilson of Dilworth, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, four orange cats.
