It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Barrett of Hines, Minnesota, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Barrett (Feather) and Frank A. Barrett; and his siblings, Gene W. Barrett, Robert L. Barrett, Adolph V. Barrett, Raymond L. Barrett, Florence Larson and Annette Demo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Barrett, Jr. of Shakopee, MN, Charles Barrett (Deb) of Red Lake, MN, Terry Barrett (Nancy) of Council Bluff, Daryl Barrett of Waubun, MN, Peggy Grundmeier (Richard) of Northome, MN, Kellie Paukner of Kelliher, MN, Jean Barrett of Red Lake, MN, Becky Barrett of Red Lake, MN and Maxine Folstad (Robert) of Brooklyn Park, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck (81 Main St, Blackduck, MN 56630). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
