He is survived by: his wife Gussie; his stepchildren, John Schmidt (Tammy), Jeff Dawson (Tracy), Theresa and Jennifer Champa (Justin); and his pets, Tippo and Schatzi. He is also survived by seven step grandsons, four step granddaughters, and four step great grandchildren.
