It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Montgomery Jay Staples of Hinckley, Minnesota, born in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Staples and Frances Staples (Reynolds); and his siblings, Mervin Staples, George Staples, Arnold "Sonny" Victor and Francine Staples.

He is survived by : his siblings, Temperance McLain, Denise Chamblin (Mark), Melanie Benjamin, Marvin Staples, Dean Staples, Bernadine Roberts, Arlene Victor (Chris) and Brandon Benjamin; and his children, Cheyenne, Billie, Spring and Kiowa.
