It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlys Knutson of Hinckley, Minnesota, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Chuck; her parents, Martin Temple and Ruth Temple; and her siblings, Darlene, Robert and Arnie.

She is survived by : her sisters, Sharon Strampe (Clarence) of Sioux Falls, SD and Carol; her children, Kim Shaver (Bruce) of East Bethel, MN, Lori Ando (Dave) of Richmond, VA, Gwyn Doenz (Dick) of Pine City, MN, Tammy Phillips (Leroy) of Cincinnati, IA, Dawn Adams (Kevin) of Oakdale, MN and Chad Fisher (Paula) of Siren, WI; and her stepchildren, Jim Knutson (Patty) and Kathy Wegner (Brian) of St Paul, MN. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (405 2nd St NW, Hinckley, MN 55037). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
