She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Gertrude, Frank Laqua, Mary and Frank Thury; her parents, Francis Laqua and Marie Laqua (Stanley Opsahl); and her brothers, Bill and Jerry.

She is survived by : her sister Kathleen Worlicky; her siblings-in-law, Donald Opsahl (Lucy), Marlene, Jeanette and Mavis; her children, Julie Dillenburg (Chuck), Lisa Okerstrom (Mark), Chris Opsahl and Kevin Opsahl (Kim); her grandchildren, Michelle (Dustin), Jacob (Lisa), Ruth (Luke), Joshua (Krystal), Carol, Elizabeth, Ryan and Kyle (Michelle); her great grandchildren, James, Vincentia, Morgan, Claire, Gwen, Alex, Ian, Jude, Wren, Moira, Isaac, Iona, Caden, Case and Rita (Pat); and her husband Stanley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Women's Care Center in Duluth are preferred.
