He is survived by: his mother Mary Davis of Hinckley, MN; his sons, Leslie Klar (Deborah) of North Carolina and Lenard Klar (Eilene) of Hinckley, MN; his siblings, David, Arnold, Elmer Jr., Dale, Darrel and Mary Kay Klar; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Jacob and Sarah.
