He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Virnig and Margaret Virnig (Newman); his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Mary Crane, Muriel Meade and Dale Virnig.
He is survived by: his son Brian; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Virnig and Vern Crane; and his nieces and nephews, Jody Virnig, Chris Virnig, Debra Crane, Dianne Crane, Tim Crane, Maggie Meade-Sheldon, Lester Rowe, David Rowe and Myles Rowe. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
