He is survived by: his children, Darlin Kister (Troy Martin), Rosa Lindeman (Eric), Donna Gergen (Joshua), Victoria Howey (Keith), Lila Perez and Federico Perez (Jessica); the parent of his children Hildur Perez; his grandchildren, Alexander, Eric Jr., Onowa, Steven, Eian, Mahala, Dylan, Mikee, Nolan, Ethan and Colton; and his siblings, Lupe Huerta, Bernave Perez, Vidal Perez, Luz Villa, Eloisa Perez, Rosario Aguirre, Adela Pollock, Celia Perez and Eligia Mendez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
