With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darlene Ann Lafave of Hinckley, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Darlene Ann left this world on February 10, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Darlene Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darlene Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Skinaway and Emma Skinaway (Sutton); and her son John Barrick. She is survived by: her daughter Dianne; her grandchildren, Fabian, Sheldon, Emily and Jonathon; and her great grandchild Tino. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Lake Lena Community Center (45749 Grace Lake Rd, Sandstone, MN 55072).
