He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Wyhe and Annie Van Wyhe (Van Muyden); his wife Jennie DeRoon; his siblings, Gordon, Duane, Marlin, Margaret Vande Griend (Dick), Gert (Ordean Webert), Dorothy Vande Griend (Peter), Alice Moerman (Bill) and Esther Vande Hoef (Dick); and his nephew Rob Veldkamp.
He is survived by: his former wife Hendrene Veldkamp of Edgerton, MN; his children, Wayne Van Wyhe (Norma) of Lester, IA, Pete Van Wyhe (Susan) of Lester, IA, Leroy Van Wyhe (Shelley) of Hills, MN, Shirley Wall (Kevin) of Parker, CO, Howard Van Wyhe (Heidi) of Hills, MN, Harlan Van Wyhe (Christy) of Prescott, AZ, Greg Van Wyhe (Michelle) of Rock Rapids, IA and Linda Meyer (Dean) of Rock Rapids, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Van Wyhe, Helen Van Wyhe and Darlene Van Wyhe.
