She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Wagenbach and Louise Wagenbach (Klein); her parents-in-law, Elmer and Mariann Metzger; her son James Metzger Jr.; and her granddaughter Kaylon Metzger.
She is survived by: her husband James Metzger of Larchwood, IA; her children, Clint Metzger (April) of Larchwood, IA, Stephen Metzger (Annette) of Hancock, MN, Ross Metzger (Heather) of Hills, MN, Molly Bowman (Scott) of Luverne, MN and Annie Wulf (Kevin) of Willcox, AZ.; and her grandchildren, Chaydon, Zavyr, Ryker, Daxtyn, Logan, Mandy, Brayden, Jamin, Karson and Sophia. She is also survived by four brothers and eight sisters along with six sisters-in-law, and twelve brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2005, but she persevered through that diagnosis and didn't allow it to quench her spirit.
