It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Leenderts of Hills, Minnesota, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Leenderts and Rakie Leenderts (Mulder); his former wife Lois Leenderts; and his siblings, Reva Hoff, Richard and James Leenderts.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Leenderts (Timmer) of Hills, MN; his children, Alan Leenderts (Bonnie) of Hills, MN, Lori Boen (Tor) of Luverne, MN, Kristie Jessen (Pete) of Jasper, MN and David Leenderts (Dawn) of Hills, MN; his stepchildren, Gregory VandeKamp (Denise) of Aberdeen, SD, Arlyn VandeKamp (Patti) of Hardwick, MN and Pam Tieszen of Luverne, MN; his grandchildren, Aric, Tracee, Michael, Jessica, Daniel, Timothy, Ashley, Matthew, Dawson, Donavon, Danette and Drew; his stepgrandchildren, Abby, Dezarae, Drew, Darius and Dylan; and his siblings, Harold Leenderts (Torborg) of Oslo-Norway and Henrietta Hughes of Portsmouth, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
