Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Louis Sikma of Hills, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 100, on September 14, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sikma and Jeanette Sikma (Riemersma); his daughter Bernis Jongetjes; and his siblings, James, Roger, Robert and Jacoba Harberts.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy DeVries; his daughters, Janice Elaine Collison of Kalamazoo, MI and Norma Kay Hoogerhyde (Daniel) of Grand Rapids, MI; his son-in-law Larry Jongetjes (Marsha); and his brothers, Harold (Marge) of Pella, IA, William of Grand Rapids, MI and Rick (Ruth) of North Pole, AK. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials directed to the Gideons.
