She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schlegel and Dorothy Schlegel (Tretter); her son Glen Gross; her grandchildren, Michael Dehnel and Jenna Gross; her siblings, Mary Ann Virnig, Patricia Miers (Patsy), Kenny Schlegel and Robert Schlegel; her sons-in-law, Craig Valenty and Dan Seekamp; and her siblings-in-law, Andrew Virnig, Lyle Bednarek and Irene Schlegel.
She is survived by: her husband Bernard Gross of Hillman; her children, Diane Seekamp (Dan) of Blaine, Gail Porter (Scott Graham) of St. Augustine, FL, Mark Gross (Jeannie Krantz) of Flagstaff, AZ, Jane Stumpf (Art) of Lastrup, Mona Valenty (Craig) of Andover, Ted Gross (Nadine Boser) of Rutland, ND, Steven Gross (Gwen Kahlhamer) of Harding, Jerry Gross of Little Falls, Joel Gross (Nicole Stephens) of Hillman, Richard Gross (Jodi Heidelberger) of Columbia Heights, Lonny Gross (Kate Lynch) of Medina and Tessa Elstran (Jason) of Pierz; and her siblings, Christy Schlegel (Grace) of Minneapolis, Walter Schlegel of Brainerd, Lorraine Virnig (Adam) of Hillman, Ray Schlegel (Diane) of Chisago and Kathy Jones (Chuck) of Arizona. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1182 Co Rd 8, Hillman, MN 56338). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
