He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Joseph and Agnes Josephine Schommer (Gross); and his wife Gloria Seelen of Rita's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Moser (Scott) of Brainerd, Sheryl Holmquist Johnson of Garrison, Joe Schommer (Katie) of Brainerd and John Schommer (Colleen) of Brainerd; his grandchildren, Kayla Bloom, Kyle Nelson, Josh Holmquist, Brandon Holmquist, Kohler Moser, Derrick Johnson, Kendra Moser, Matt Schommer, Kaitlin Moser, Jacob Schommer, Bailey Schommer, Racine Schommer, Alyssa Schommer and McKenzie Schommer; and his siblings, Vernon Schommer (Karen) of Pierz, Sharon Hoffman (Lloyd) of Pierz and Dolores Meyer (Matthew) of Blaine. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
