He was predeceased by: his parents, Orey Kranz and Luella Kranz (Keehr); his son Shawn; his siblings, Roy, Bob, Judy Holewa and Bernell Schmolke; and his brother-in-law Don Schmolke.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Baldwin; his children, Scott (Cindy), Little Falls, Robin Renee (Steven), Suzanne Virnig (Benno) and Julie Struffert (Jerry); and his brother Ronnie (Mary Anna). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
