He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; and his siblings, Marylyn Dennis, Gareth and Duane. He is survived by: his children, Norman O. Iverson (Dana), Daniel Iverson (Gail), Heidi Iverson, Brent LaFavor (Laura), Ryan LaFavor (Norma) and Shaye Thompson (Steve); and his sister Kathy Iverson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
