He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Banicki and Bernice Banicki (Ringwelski); his parents-in-law, George and Anna Schommer; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin, Harlan, George, Kenneth Schommer, Lucille Rudolph, Marlene Zehnle and JoAnn Schommer.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Schommer; his daughters, Kathleen Campbell (Patrick), Corinne Mitchell (Michael) and Gwen Aydt (Michael); his brother Bob Baniecke (Midge); and his siblings-in-law, Norman Schommer (Janet), Vernald Schommer, Marvin Schommer (Doreen), Milton Schommer, Mary Muehlbauer, Lorainne Potter (Lori), Elaine Litke (Bob) and Diane Schommer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia. ***In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
