He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gross and Matilda Gross (Kapsner); his wife Ginny Gross; his son Glen Gross; his grandchildren, Michael Dehnel and Jenna Gross; his sons-in-law, Craig Valenty and Dan Seekamp; and his siblings, Martha Holley (Al), Eva Tembreull (Joe), George Gross, Cecelia Miers (Alvin), Agnes Schommer (Peter), Marie Block (Theodore), Hilda VanRavenhorst (Cornelius), Irene Schlegel (Walter) and Stephen.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Seekamp (Dan) of Blaine, Gail Porter (Scott Graham) of St. Augustine, FL, Mark Gross (Jeannie Krantz) of Flagstaff, AZ, Jane Stumpf (Art) of Lastrup, Mona Valenty (Craig) of Andover, Ted Gross (Nadine Boser) of Rutland, ND, Steven Gross (Gwen Kahlhamer) of Harding, Jerry Gross of Little Falls, Joel Gross (Nicole Stephens) of Hillman, Richard Gross (Jodi Heidelberger) of Columbia Heights, Lonny Gross (Kate Lynch) of Medina and Tessa Elstran (Jason) of Pierz; and his sister Dolores Rauch (Bill) of Minneapolis.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church.
