He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Torgerson and Marie Torgerson; and his siblings, Diana Marie Torgerson, Ruth Anne Collins and Daryl Torgerson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his son Joel Torgerson of McGregor, MN; and his siblings, Faye Lindblom (Alan), Vicki Patrick, Christine Miller (Harlan), Henry Torgerson, Jr. (Gloria) and Joel Torgerson (Virginia). He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
