It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Oscar Swanson of Hibbing, Minnesota, born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Swanson and Frances Swanson (Jensen); his daughter Gwen; and his brothers, Cliff and Art Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Swanson; his siblings, Florence Leen (Albert) of Minneapolis, Lloyd Swanson (Cheryl) of Bloomer, WI, Evelyn Tracy (Don) of Marble and Jerry Swanson (Gina) of Nashwauk; and his sister-in-law Linda Swanson of Pengilly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
