It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia M Tuura (Hibbing, Minnesota), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ukkola and Lillian Ukkola; her husband Bernard Tuura; her daughter Shannon; her grandsons, Jeffery and Kyle; and her siblings-in-law, RoseAnne Ukkola and Richard Herm.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Tuura, Tom Tuura, Laverne Ellis (Rick), Bev Gorecki (Loren), Cheryl Zillmer (Paul) and Missy Carlson (Kevin); and her siblings, Kay Kitch, Bernice Herm and Erland Ukkola. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
