It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Alan Friend of Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Friend and Mary Elizabeth Friend (Arseueau); and his sisters, Sharon Hemenway, Candace Sykes and Punka Friend.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles (Francine Friend), Larry Friend, Ronald (Denise Friend), Terry Friend and Beverly Friend; his children, Nathan Friend (Steph) and Elizabeth Friend; and his granddaughters, Athena Friend and Serenity Friend. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
